VINsmart has partnered with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA®) and Blackbook® and the National Motor Vehicle Titling Information System (NMVTIS) to provide a complete picture when you evaluate a car’s worth.

Note: Canadian VINs and chassis/incomplete vans or trucks will not be valued. The report is only for cars registered in the US.

Valuations are based on industry-standard conditions.

• Rough - A rough designation implies significant mechanical and body repairs are required to restore the car to a reasonable running condition.
• Average - An average rating means the vehicle is mechanically sound but may need minor repairs or services to pass necessary inspections.
• Clean - A clean designation means no mechanical defects and a clean title. The car will pass inspection standards.
